Chapter 76
MIRACLE POV
My head feels heavy and my heart feels heavier by the time I finally blink my eyes open and come back to my senses.
It takes me a moment to recall everything that happened and what I actually did.
Sighing, I close my eyes again and think about the hurt emotion I saw in Cain’s eyes earlier. He was surely not expecting this.
My left hand instinctively reaches out to my neck where the mark burned earlier.
“ The mark disappeared. ” The familiar bone chilling voice makes me freeze on my spot.
An alert alarm goes off in my head and I find myself taking notice of everything around me.
I am laying on a bed and like expected, I can now feel the sharp burn of the silver chains digging in my right hand and right ankle.
I thought I escaped this nightmare for life and I was never coming back, not willingly at least
