CHAPTER HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR : HERO FROM THE SHADOWS

"And how have you been trying to do that?", Seraphina asked.

"Just a little better, because they won't be alive if not for me", Hyperion said.

"Don't worry, you're very good at killing people", Seraphina said. "Why are you still here by the way?"

"Well, I wanted to spend time with you. This may be the last time I spent with you ever", Hyperion said as he took a step towards her.

"No!!.... we are not going to do this!", Seraphina said angrily. "Too late for any of this, we are both relics of the past and we stain the present"

"Haven't you been waiting for me?", Hyperion asked. "I can sense that your heart still beats for me as it has always done"

Seraphina's face loosened and her anger was replaced by immense sadness ; "you are my one true weakness, the one thing I truly ever loved and you turned your back on me and left me alone for so long"

"It was for the best", Hyperion said as he inched closer to Seraphina.

"What happened? What happened to you?" Seraphina asked, her eyes narrowing
