My eyes fluttered open as I regained consciousness. A dull ache was just beginning to take root in my head.

I tried to raise my hand to my temple but it was stuck. Slowly, my eyes moved over my body. I took a deep, shaky breath when I realized that my body was wrapped to a chair, with a twine.

Subconsciously, I tugged at it, wanting to see how strong it could hold. It didn't give, instead, it dug deeper, biting into my skin. I felt the bite move around my body. I was trapped.

Where am I? Why am I tied to a chair? What is that awful smell? It was making me nauseous.

Slowly, my memories came flooding back. The hand on my mouth. The attack in the woods.

Someone must have brought me here and tied me up. Was it Ryder? Was he really desperate to prove himself? Or was he just plain mad? Has he brought me here to finish the job his beta, Trevor failed to do?
