Chapter 21 : By your side

Levi's POV

"Alpha Levi," says Elliot, entering my studio. "This came for you."

He holds out a sealed envelope. I open it at once, trying to decipher the scent wafting from the envelope. I know this scent, I think, but right now I can't remember from where.

Elliot sits across from me as I open the envelope. He looks up from his cell phone for a moment and notices my serious and curious expression.

"Everything okay?" he asks with a raised eyebrow.

I nod.

Inside the envelope are a series of photographs. They are pictures of letters with dates ranging from the present day and up to almost two months ago. About the time Amber and I were married.

In fact, the letters appear to be from her. At least, this appears to be her handwriting. In all the notes, some long and some shorter, Amber explains in detail to Sebastian how much she misses him.

The messages are clear. Amber complains about our marriage. She explains how she gave in to her lust purely out of spite, but now feels
