"Mummy mummy can I try on your lip gloss?"

My only girl child and toddler asked me as I was putting on my makeup for my pleasure and I smiled at her saying that she was still far too young to be putting makeup on her face just yet she pouted and she was probably going to be clear about this until she had her favorite yogurt drink.

Miguel said that he had other things to deal with meaning that I would be the only one to go to the party and since I could not leave my children alone and attend so naturally I was going to bring them with me they were usually well-behaved unless they got overly excited so there wouldn't be any problem in a party and I already tried all of them with something nice if they all kept their best behavior until we returned, so I didn't have much to worry about.
