Kiara's pov

"Doctor please can you save him?"

The doctor looked at me with pity saying that he was going to do everything he could but it wasn't looking very good for my father as he turned around and dashed into the ICU unit before I could settle into the waiting room Bryant and my mother quickly arrived to the scene and by that time he is really running down my face.

I had no idea that man would ever be able to take a bullet for me. I thought he wouldn't even care if I died so listening to the advice that he gave me didn't seem to make any sense. Tears were coming down heavily even as Bryant wrapped his hands around me and my mother kept pleading to me what happened.
