Kiara pov

Now I took my last miserly article of clothing and then I stuffed it in the bag I placed on my bed behind me was Bryant's grandmother eying me down like a hawk.

I don't think that even the airport security was going to be as harsh as her.

"What is it that you just put in there?!"

She demanded to know and then I brought out my underwear bag and opened it, she looked at it with utter disgust and kept that face even as I kept it back.

"You can't blame me for being cautious…" she said her voice less sharp but I would be a fool if I could not tell that she was mocking me right now and because of that I didn't smile along with anything she said and I just kept my face low and away from her look of disdain that she had constantly painted on her face whenever she saw me I can't think that there was ever a moment when this woman genuinely smiled at me it was either a twisted smile that was filled with hidden disgust and anger or something just as messed up but never a genuine one
