Distracted President

Zheng Tianyi stared at her almond shaped eyes that turned crescent when she smiled. Something unexplainable flashed across  his cold eyes.

Jiang Xiuying continued talking in attempt to convince him. 

" I have already taken into consideration on how you value your privacy very much. Like it was written, we won't interfere in each others private life. But that doesn't mean you should be unfaithful during out two years of marriage. Also, I can of course keep our marriage a secret unless you say otherwise. Since the shares transfer would take effect two years after our marriage, you should assume the role of a caring husband and loving father" 

" Father? Are you that eager to give birth to my children? " Zheng Tianyi knew that she was just one of the numerous woman that wants to get in his bed but didn't expect her to be so brave saying it in front of him.

Xiuying shrugged. " Judging how handsome you are and how beautiful I am, I'm sure our children would be so good looking" She flashed him a charming smile

Zheng Tianyi looked at the narcissist seated across him with his perfectly carved brow scrunched up showing three vertical line on his forehead.

' It's true I'm handsome ' He  stared at Xiuying who was intently looking him. He quickly reverted his gaze away from her. " What I'm I even thinking about?" He mumbled to himself.

Zheng Tianyi actually agreed with her that their children would be good looking.

" Give it a thought okay. You have reached a marriageable age already. I will let you think about it" Jiang Xiuying stood up. She stretched out her arm hoping for an handshake but he ignored her. Rubbing her palms together, She picked up her clutch.

" I will take my leave now"  Taking one last glance at him,she flipped her silver hair backward and walked out of the room.

Han Sen opened his mouth to speak but swallowed it. He knew now wasn't the time to open his big mouth. He paused for a while hoping for his boss to give him an instruction.

Zheng Tianyi sat in the same position without making a slight movement. 

Did She just propose to me?

" What did you call her name again?" He asked. He hadn't bother to register her name in his head since she was considered as unimportant.

His assistant's eyes turned into a golf ball. Han Sen's brain had began working rapidly.

He knew for sure that his boss  hardly cares about some people especially the opposite sex. As a man who had never been involved in any scandal suddenly became interested in a female, it was such a huge news.

Despite the thought going through his mind, he managed to give his boss a reply. " Her name is Jiang Xiuying "

Zheng Tianyi glared at the contract that was innocently lying on the table.

" Run a background check on her. I believe she is not that simple."

A lady worked into the room just as Zheng Tianyi finished giving his instructions.

" President Zheng " Shancai greeted. She placed a file on the table. " This file contains everything you need to know about Ms Jiang. She said to tell you that there is no need for you to run a background check on her." Shancai bowed and left.

Han Sen looked at the beautiful woman in wonder. She didn't spare him a glance and even brushed her hair against his face.

' Who does she think she is to order me around?' Zheng Tianyi scoffed. He elegantly stood up and began to make his way out.

" President Zheng, what about the contract? " Han Sen curiously asked.

Zheng Tianyi stopped on his tracks. " Bring them along " He briefly responded and resumed his steps.

Han Sen couldn't hide his mischievous smile. 

Doesn't that mean her marriage proposal would be considered?

The assistant quickly fished out his phone from his pocket and sent a short message to one of the contact in his phone before proceeding to pick up the contract and the file from the table.

Zheng Tianyi couldn't fully focus on his work the next day. His attention was divided between what he was doing and the two files laying patiently on the table for him to turn his attention to them.

He reached out to pick up the file containing everything about her.Opening it once more, he was interrupted by the call from the intercom that indicated it was time for meeting. He nodded his head at the contract and dropped it back on the table. 

The meeting began proceeding smoothly as usual. A certain person was not listening to the presentation made by Han Sen.

'What type of person is she?'

" I will leave it to President Zheng to decide" Han Sen concluded his speech and looked towards his boss.

The pin drop silence in the meeting room made Zheng Tianyi raise his head only to find that everyone present in the meeting were intently looking at him.

He coldly stared at them making them shudder. He stood up and walked out of the meeting room. 

Han Sen looked at his colleagues that were rooted on the same spot for about five minutes since his boss walked out. Seeing the way they were seated, he doubt if any of them dared to breath.

Nervously laughing, he tried to console them. " I don't think President Zheng was displeased about our presentation. I'm sure something suddenly came up." 

The employees regained their senses and began to get ready. They would be working over time tonight to avoid their boss' scolding.

' I was supposed to go on a date with my darling today' The youngest in the room lamented in her heart. She finally thought it was time for her to have fun after countless days of working over time.

Before long, the meeting  room became empty leaving only Han Sen in the large spacious room. He sighed and loosened his tie a little bit. The sun is about to set but his day has only began.
