Chapter 72

Sophia closed the door slowly as she immediately turned to face her husband. He had fully turned to her as he was sitting at the edge of the bed. He sat still looking at her.

"You heard what Andrew said, right?" He adjusted himself as he attempted to stand up but later decided to sit again.

Sophia nodded. "Yes. I did" she said and then bowed her face down. William did a little 'tsk tsk' with his lips as he turned to the other way.

"You keep daring me, woman. Every single time. You act stupid and disgrace me. Did I make a mistake saving your sister?" He said with a smile. Sophia shook her head as she tried to answer him. She was trembling inwardly as she stood there.

"then why do you always make me regret the littlest thing? Are you naturally dumb?" He asked with another smile. He crossed his legs as he spoke waiting for an answer.

Sophia didn't know what to say. Yes or no. What would make him satisfied? She stood there still as she didn't even breathe.
