Chapter 93

The voice came out of nowhere but it was loud and authoritative. William dropped the knife immediately as he took a few steps back in shock but then, it came again to him.

"Pick it up and stab yourself with it. You do not deserve to live, you're useless" it said to him firmly. The voice sounded so firm and audibly present that William had to look around him to make sure someone else wasn't in his house. Once he had found out that he was in there all alone, he grabbed a chair and sat on it. He closed his eyes and started to breathe easy. In his mind, he thought that maybe if he practiced the breathing techniques he had seen so many times in television, he would calm down but that wasn't the case.
