Chapter 34 - My Precious Little Darlings

Kasper's POV

I sat in a meeting which for the first time I considered boring, maybe it's because Anna was on my mind? After we went out for dinner, she is still yet to say a thing about the kids or us. Just then my phone vibrated as I had put it on silent for the meeting. I answered, the meeting was boring either way so it didn't matter.

“ Hello? Is this Claude and Chloe's dad?” A female voice inquired from over the phone. I took a good look at who had called me and it turned out to be an unknown number - strange.

“ Yes, who is speaking?” I questioned.

“ I'm Ms. Amanda, the homeroom teacher of the twins,” she introduced herself.

“ Is there a problem?”

“ The twins are in a bit of a pickle and we'll need you to come over,” she sounded urgent. Where the kids in trouble? Could they have injured?

“ Alright, I'm on my way,” I said before hanging up. I got up from my seat making everyone stare at me more.
