Chapter 29

Lucy's POV;

Tyler tapped on my shoulder which made me turn and look at him. He asked, "What are you doing here?"

I realised that I was in the kitchen and answered him, "Making lunch." And continued washing the vegetables.

"You just got your cast removed. Don't strain it by cooking. Leave it to me, I'll take care of it."

"It's been four days already. My hand doesn't hurt anymore."

He removed the apron while saying, "We got a Christmas dinner to attend this weekend so don't get yourself in trouble by cooking." He held my shoulders and made me walk to the living room, made me sit on the couch and said, "If you feel bored, watch television. The lunch will be ready in a while." And walked back into the kitchen.

I shouted while being in the living room, "Can I atleast chop vegetables for you?"

"No need. Thank you for asking babe." He shouted back.

"Don't you have to go to the company? Why are you still here even after removal of the cast? Aren't you worried about your company anymore?"
