Lucy's pov;

After meeting up with the student council staff, I came straight to the classroom. When I sat down, Casey leaned towards me while being at her desk and asked, "What happened? Is it about the fight with those bullies?"

I nodded.

"Did they give you detention for fighting them?" she continued. I shook my head, again, which is when she sighed and started saying, "Well, it's probably a good thing that you did what you did. They should have listened to you instead of getting mad at you."

"You agree then?" I asked her.

"Sure!" she replied excitedly. "By the way, how did they let you lose like that? They're really strict when it comes to our school policy on fighting."

"Instead of giving me a detention period, they asked me to join the discipline committee as part of my punishment for fighting back. Since I'm not even a senior, I had no choice but to comply with their orders."
