Chapter Nineteen

Two weeks passed quickly within the blink of an eye

And within these past days, nothing had changed. Alex still maintained his coldness, and it seemed Lucy still hadn’t been able to make even a single step in gaining Alex’s trust

Things seemed to be getting worse rather. But Lucy still didn’t lose hope yet

As usual, it was an early morning. And time for breakfast was due
