Chapter Twenty

Later in the evening….

Bella got ready and set out to meet Jeffery for their first date

After thinking continuously about whatever Lucy said in the morning, she decided to just give love another chance

Maybe Jeffery is actually her destined partner as Lucy said

Lucy quickly stood up on her feet upon seeing Bella descending the stairs and smiled broadly with satisfaction. She opened her arms as she approached her to embrace her “I’m so glad you’ve finally made up your mind to give Jeffery a chance. Don’t come home until you enjoy yourself to the fullest”

“Sure” Bella smiled back and left

Lucy stood with mixed feelings after Bella’s figure finally went out of sight. For a moment, she felt maybe she shouldn’t have encouraged her to give Jeffery a chance, because she doesn’t know him so well

She only got to meet him few times while she and Collins were still dating. And even that, they didn’t talk to each other much
