Calix’s POV

I’m still upset even when my mother went out of my house. I was struggling with my breath and my fists were still closed. I couldn’t restrain the pain in my chest on how she abandoned me. On how she didn’t show her love for me while growing up.

If Blaire didn’t calm me down, I should’ve vent my anger towards my mother.

“Calm down, Calix….” Blaire blurted while caressing my arms.

I didn’t even notice that she was clinging her hands on my arms. I just glance at her, she looks so serious and that she’s not even fine as well. I can see annoyance and irritation in her eyes but I didn’t give a damn now.

I swallowed hard. Even if the house is air conditioned, I’m still sweating. I don’t know what’s gotten to me when I heard some commotion down stairs. When I walked out of my room, I saw the kids entered their room and Caleb was talking to them but I didn’t care about it.
