Chapter 20 - Blackout

HER mouth was agape when she opened the box given to her. She can't believe they managed to get their hands on this small dagger that could easily kill you with one prick to the finger. The moon shone brightly through her balcony, enough for her to see the case she was opening. She kept her light shut and avoided everyone till night came.

(Does Shadow want me to kill him tonight?) she wondered to herself as she played with the dagger.

The chemicals were separated from the dagger, making it useless for now. It's just an ordinary knife but sharp enough that if you hit an artery, it can be critical. "How can I do this without arousing any suspicion?" she asked herself, knowing the first suspect would be her.
