Chapter 25 - Unwanted Guest

SHADOW tripped over the table and he groaned painfully. "Get a grip on yourself," Reyna said as she walked inside the room. He looked around and saw the bottles of alcohol scattered around the room. "You've been drinking all night, have you got no shame?" she asked and he groaned, still on the floor.

It's like taking care of a child. Ever since Keisha was sent on her mission he has been drinking on most nights and developing an alcohol addiction. He was suffering each night, longing for her. And now she's finally married to that monster.

It's killing him how he can't do anything but to sit and wait for the opportunity to strike another attack. It was excruciating pain and alcohol was the only way to stop it.
