Scarlett POV

The temperature in the room is lower, enough to make my skin immediately shiver. Nick and Will are standing side by side, both without their suits, without ties, and with the first two buttons of their shirts open.

The light in the room is only half-lit and yellowish, a calming tone that is also good for the imagination. They're both looking at me as if I'm their prey.

I think it's the first time I've seen Will with a posture very similar to Nick's and I shudder, swallow dry, and walk back to the middle of the room. I'm not too close to them as they're standing at the foot of the bed.

Nick is the first to move, he walks slowly, and his footsteps are strong and resonate through the room. I have to force myself to breathe normally because I instinctively want to hold my breath or ask him to come soon, but I keep my mouth shut, and my gaze doesn't stray from his.
