52 I Want You Dead

Delia’s POV

It was a quiet and sad dream. When I woke up from my dream, tears came out of my eyes for some reason.

The baby teeth Kral had handed me on my ankles glowed slightly. I touched it, remembering the last images of Kral's parents in my dream.

If it wasn't for that long sigh that woke me up from my dream, I don't know how long I would have stayed there in silence like a wandering soul. I remembered that Karl had asked me to stand in front of his parents' tombstone for a little while longer. Did he know that I would see those sad memories in my dreams?

Why? That his father, who seemed so powerful, could not protect his beloved wife from such a tragic death?

Frowning, I sat up slowly from the boat. I thought my movements would make my wounds hurt, but the strange thing is that my body does not have any wounds. I examined myself carefully. My arms and calves were healthy, without any cuts or bruises. Even the bell on my wrist and the dagger tied to my calf had changed back.
