There was a sudden silence as everyone turned their gaze to the door. I was surprised to see that it was none other than alpha Marcus and a few other men. I was surprised just by seeing him thinking that he would be at the battle ground right now.

I was taken aback because I thought that they would be there longer or perhaps return when the battle was finally over but I have heard no ounce of rumors which confirms that there was not a war going on.

My eyes scanned through the troupe or men that aligned with their weapons and camp bag. I searched wearily in case I could find the trios but surprisingly there was no sign of them almost as if they weren't there with them.

I didn't want to jump into inconclusive conclusions hoping that it was because the crowds were a lot which makes it harder for me to find them. My heart was beating fast, thoughts running through and fro in my head.
