Aurora comes down the stairs looking rather sleepy and if the marks all over her neck are any indication, I know why. I hide my snicker, not that she would notice with the way her eyes light up seeing Sabastian, Luca is in her arms blabbing away about some exciting story that no one is paying attention too apart from me. “Hi,” she breathes out as she reaches the bottom step, her eyes gazing at Sabastian like he hung the moon. When he lifts up the bag from the bakery, she steps closer to him and the two kiss passionately. I smirk some more as I watch them. My smile slips and I feel a pang in my chest, a green haze coming over me. She has everything and I have nothing.

I look away. That was my choice. After what feels like time is standing still, they break apart. I guess Sabastian is right; she loves it. It always amuses me seeing my brothers, these tough, strong, powerful alphas, turn to putty in my sister’s presence. She turns to me with a big smile before she looks down at Luc
