Amelie's POV

He turns around to see me hurrying after him, he must have heard my footsteps. I adjust my gown and my hair. He ignores me and continues to walk.

“Ace, wait up,” I yell and he stops.

“Good morning, did you sleep well?” I ask, finally catching up to him and smiling widely.

“What is it?” he grumbles impatiently.

“Won't you respond or at least ask me if I slept well too?” I ask, purposely touching my neck, so he could look at me properly. But he kept staring at my face nonchalantly.

“Is there something wrong? Did I do anything to upset you?” I ask sweetly. I can see his jaw tick in anger.

“You sure you don't know what you did?” he inquires, trying to control his anger. “I don't want to see your face for another minute because I don't know what I might do,” he continues, turning around to walk away.
