Alexa's POV

“What is that?” Alpha Kai said.

“What will we be traveling with? It's called a carriage,” I reply, trying to get in.

“I know it's a carriage,” he grumbles.

“Good to know, then. Are you going to keep standing there or are we leaving?” I ask.

“Why are we traveling on a carriage? I'm a wolf,” he said, looking confused.

“Yeah, everyone knows that,” I turn around to say and continue trying to get in, but I keep failing. This gown of mine won't just let me move like I would want to.

“I can just shift and carry you on my back, it's faster that way. Why would you bring that thing?” he asks, looking displeased.

“Again, it's a carriage. Tell me something, how many Alphas have Lunas that can't shift?” I inquired, turning to face him fully now.

“Just one. You and me,” he mutters.

“Exactly. You're shifting into your gigantic wolf and carrying me on your back would attract too much attention. Unless you want us to get ambushed again, you would get into this carriage,” I said
