The Elders Decision

I thought I didn’t hear him well at first until he removed the two bags on top of the box in my hands.

“Bring your maid in if you need one’ Arnold said to the girls and they scoffed in disbelief.

Both picking up their bags on the floor, I let out a short laugh as I hurriedly followed the two Alphas out.

The walk was a quiet one until Aiden broke the silence “So what was your discussion with Ryker?” He asked.

“Uh?” I asked in confusion.

“You’re aware that he’s our Beta and he’s not going to waste time in telling us if we ask,” Arnold said.

“Then you should ask him” I muttered under my breath. Why are they concerned about my business anyway?

I didn’t give them any reply as I increased my steps walking far from them.

I got to the meeting hall first. Panting heavily, I set the box on the table and raised my head when my eyes met with the elders and Morpheus staring at me with disgust.

Their gaze almost got me frozen but I faked a smile as I bowed to say my greetings before turning around
