Chapter 86

Garrett reached into his pocket and extracted two witch-like syringes, hoping they would work. He muttered the command for one to open, and it did.

Without hesitation, he swiftly inserted it into Alpha Anon's hand. Observing as the Alpha's hand fell limp from his body, Garrett watched him collapse to the ground. "Nice one," he thought, hoping his men remembered to use the limited supply of syringes he had given them.

He spotted one of his warriors and instructed him to securely tie Alpha Anon out of sight from the others and keep a watchful eye on him. Returning to the fight, he anxiously wondered if Elena and Lois had located his mate.

Drake halted in his tracks when Sapphire came to a stop before him. He cursed at her, but his attention shifted when he realized they were not alone. "Sapphire," a voice called out.
