She looked perturbed and could barely look me in the eyes. Despite the fact that she was wearing a mask, she had captivating eyes. They were so many emotions in her eyes. But, the most prominent one was fear. I had my doubts and suspicions about her. Still, she was my mate. I knew I would never be able to reject her. I was merely stalling because I had a feeling that there was so much I didn't know.

"What do you want to tell me?" I asked and she blinked.

Slowly, she pulled away from me.

"I changed my mind. I have nothing to say to you" she said.

It was a lie. I didn't need to be a lie detector to know that.

"You were in a pretty disoriented state few minutes ago. Why the sudden change of mind?"

"The weather is great today, don't you think?" She was smiling now.

I stared at her, confused.

"Andrea, don't change the topic"
