ANDREA

I was jolted awake by the shrill noise coming from my ringing phone. Letting out a groan, I brushed my messy hair away from my face and wrapped it up in an untidy bun. I yawned sleepily as I reached out for my phone which was lying underneath my pillow. Once I took it out and stared at the screen, I squinted.

"Hello?" I rasped after picking the call.

"They want to talk to you" the sound of Ruby's voice jerked me right into action.

"What? Who?' I asked.

"Your family" she responded. My stomach knotted up, my throat going dry.

"Andy?"

The sound of Jenny's voice brought a lump to my throat.

"Jenny, is that you?" I said, my voice shaky.

She let out a breathy sigh.

"I've missed you. It's been years since we saw each other. I bet you don't know how tall I've grown. I should be taller than you" she said and I couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah, but I'll always be smarter" I teased.

"Mum and I are doing alright now. These people here, are taking care of us. They said you work
