"Aren't you curious to know the reason why I brought you here?" Kathryn asked, a smug look on her face. We were standing in front of her designated room.

"You said you have something to say to me. What is it?" I said. I was starting to feel impatient. I knew Andrea was not pleased about the fact that I'd left with Kathryn. I wanted to return to her as quickly as possible. It had taken me a while to claim my mate. Yet, our relationship was already taking off with a rough start.

"Let's talk inside the room, Jared. I don't bite" Kathryn said, a sly smile tugging at her lips.

"What is this? You're not trying to seduce me, are you?" I said and she scoffed.

"What I am about to tell you is something sensitive, Jared" Kathryn said as she opened the door and walked in. I stared at her, conflicted.

"Aren't you coming?" She asked. Once I entered the room, she shut the door and leaned against the wall.

"You might want to brace yourself for what I'm about to tell you" she said.
