Chapter Sixty

Laila POV

“Atlas-” I pleaded and surprisingly he relaxed against my touch. He was mad that Alpha Zick had crossed the line but the way he looked showed that he wouldn’t hold back on making him regret doing something so travail.

“Fine. I won’t do anything rash, i will not-” it sounded like he was chanting a mantra to himself. He sighed and turned to me, he eyed me carefully before they met with my eyes. He still had that hooded look, the same as the one he had in his eyes when he teased me.

I was still recovering from the high and it was difficult with him looking at me like that. In that moment i inspected his room, it was different from mine, the same size but it had not much of the homely feel to it, there was no scented candles or bed with red covering- bed- there was just a single bed. I swallowed, if i was going to stay here with him that means we were going to share the bed.

It shouldn’t be that hard Laila, it’s just a small bed. I told myself.
