Chapter 103

ALEXIS' POV

I throw the block of chains outside my window and tie the end to a hook by the window. Testing the risk of the chains, I pull against it strongly and thankfully, it stays strong and doesn't budge. I cast the room one last look and try to control my breath, while trying so hard not to panic. For the hundredth time since I had the wild idea of an escape plan crossed my mind last night, I try to convince myself that this is the best escape plan. I have to protect my child from them. I have to escape for my child.

That same night, I had come up with the idea of utilizing the same chains I had been tied up with to escape.

It is barely dusk now and I have calculated that if I would be able to run as fast as my legs can carry and escape the grounds of Coral pack, I would shift into my werewolf form and continue to run until I know that I am safe and far away from the claws of Alpha Crane.
