Chapter 104

ALEXIS' POV

After Randall sneaks me back into the castle, he warns me not to get the idea of running off again until he comes up with an escape plan. Reluctantly, I agree and he leaves me at the doorstep of my room and walks away again.

With a deep exhale, I push open the door and walk in but as soon as I step a foot into the room, I freeze to my feet and my eyes widens with fear to see Rachel waiting for me in the room, the block of chains that I had used to escape in her grips. She has a mischievous smirk on her face as she plays with the block of chains in her hand.

"Were you trying to escape from us?" She asks me and I gulp nervously and walk into the room, trying to fake confidence and nonchalance. I am sure she would pick on me even further if she notices any sign of weakness or vulnerability in me.

"I am still standing right before you, aren't I? Or perhaps you have an issue with your sight?"
