Chapter 63

ALEXIS' POV

As I sit in the front seat of Randall's car while he drives in the subtle darkness of the night, I keep my mouth on mute and refuse to say a word to him while he keeps the silence as well. I swear to myself that as his reward for forcing me to go on a stroll with him against my free will, I would be the most boring person and make him regret his efforts.

Soon, we arrive at the city and on natural instincts, my body stretches on my seat and I watch the view from the windows of the car. My eyes takes in the sight of the tall towers that makes up the beautiful city and the neon colored lights that beautifies the buildings, giving vibrant lightning to the streets, very much contrasting to the gothic darkness of my village. There are water fountains along the roads and at the centers. Beautiful, tall and eccentric. Along the streets, walking in god-like manners, are the elites dressed in the most fairest and expensive of dresses and cloaks. They look like the gods themselves. T
