NARRATOR’S POV

Willow could not shake off the feeling of sadness that enveloped her. She felt guilty for the strained relationship Jaden had with his father and worst his abandoning his duty and pack and running off with her.

However, Jaden insisted he was doing what was right and asked Willow to stop feeling guilty. He assured her that it was his curse to bring an end to the feud between Lycans and werewolves.

They both had to rely on each other in other to survive the dangers in the wood, most times Willow wanted to end it all, her death would force Jaden to go back home and she could finally end her own miseries, but each time she tried her nerves failed her, and something else kept her from ending it all, her wolf. Willow's wolf was so intrigued by Jaden, Willow sometimes had to reprimand her.
