I tried to get away from the crowd that surrounded me, so I could get to Natalie. I thought I saw her coming this way, but where is she? I strained my neck to look for her and was surprised when I saw her walking out of the basketball court. Where was she going? Didn't she see me?

“Maguire, look at me. You're sweating so much.” One of the girls wiped my face with a towel.

“Excuse me, let me through.” I tried to walk out, but they were too much.

“Stay still. We need to get you cleaned up.”

“I'm okay!” I snapped and they all went quiet. I forced a smile and rubbed the back of my head. “I'm fine, okay? I have to go now,” I started moving, and they paved the way for me to pass. I needed to see Natalie before she went out of sight.
