Vivian returned from the office that day looking exhausted. She had worked past her closing time, so she wouldn't have to go to work the next day, and now she was exhausted.

She dropped her bag in the room and smiled at Cara's sleeping figure. She couldn't wait for when she'd be done with the office work and be able to take care of her daughter. She didn't want the girl to grow up without her.

She pecked Cara's forehead and took off her clothes. The first thing she looked at after entering the bathroom was her reflection in the mirror. With a sigh, she washed her face with water and forced a smile. She might have been through hell and back, but she was still her and nothing could change that.

After bathing, she headed downstairs for dinner when Candice approached her.
