“Selene,” Bryce called as his eyes narrowed at her. What he hated most in his life was to be called a coward.

Selene looked at him, her eyes glued to his face. She didn't give a fuck about whether he liked being called a coward or not. She would do anything to make sure Naya gets out of this mess called an engagement ceremony.

“I won't appreciate you calling me a coward.”

“Coward!” She called again and Bryce balled his fists. “If you don't like to be called a coward, then stop acting like one!” She snapped at him. “Do you have any idea the amount of damage your carelessness and negligence can cause?” She asked.

“There's nothing I can do. I stand no chance, please understand me.”

“I refuse to understand you. You're being a coward by running away from your problems when you should face them head on. You're a man, not a woman. You should be strong enough to fight for your love. Do you want to lose her because of fear?” She asked.

Bryce tried to speak, but she raised her hand to stop
