With the dawn of every new day came Selene's worry and fear that the time for her to finally take her powers from Dominic had come. She stood in front of her mirror as she stared at her reflection. The time was almost here and the past days have been the best days of her life. Going back to the realm meant going back to being alone with no one to talk to except Marlene. And she only talked with Marlene whenever she gave orders.

With a sigh, she ruffled her hair, coming to the realization that she had gotten accustomed to the human world. She had hidden her powers so well and could live in the werewolf world if she wanted.

She had no idea how her life was going to be without Dominic in it. How would she bare taking her powers back and rid everybody of memories of her? How would she bear watching Dominic living like he didn't know her or hadn't met her? How would she bear seeing him with another woman and watch him call her mate? What if he ended up with Matilda?

Her head raced wit
