After the drink at Selene's place, Naya headed home immediately and was shocked to see her mother awake, waiting for her.

“Mother, why are you still up by this time?” She asked.

Queen Bree scoffed and glared at her. “You're asking why I am still up? Look at the time you're coming home, princess!” She snapped, emphasizing on the word 'princess'.

Naya bowed her head apologetically. “I'm sorry, mother. After the party, I went to Selene's place before coming here.”

“Oh really? And you think it's befitting for a princess to stay out that late? What is your problem, Naya? Why are you bent on causing trouble for me?” She sighed and facepalmed.

“I'm sorry, mother. It won't happen again.”

“Of course it's not going to happen again because you're getting engaged to Prince Leonard in two days!” Her mother snapped and she gasped.

“What? Two days? Engagement?” She couldn't believe what her mother just said. Their initial plan was for her to finish her studies at the Academy before the engagement
