Ariel narrowed her eyes when she saw Kyra rush out of the room. If she was right, then that room she came out from was where she was to testify with Jax. To attest to the fact that Jax really was innocent.

With the way Kyra rushed out though, Ariel was sure things didn’t go as planned. Tears brimmed in her eyes even though she tried to hide it and Ariel smirked at that.

Things certainly didn’t go as planned. She was certain Kyra hated that she said she was Jax’s mate and that might have helped in what happened there.

She shook her head in disbelief as she grinned. She didn’t think it would be this easy. Getting between them. Sure, Kyra had been shocked when she had dropped the bombshell of her being Jax’s mate but she didn’t look as though she didn’t believe her.
