Chapter 28: Revelations
Liliana’s POV
Kaden's palace welcomes me with the grandeur and warmth that I have come to cherish. I practically bounce out of Evander’s car and so excited am I that I fail to notice Evander silently driving off without bidding me goodbye.
I waltz into the palace grounds with a smile on my face. It is good to be happy, it truly is. The child that I am carrying must be a blessing from mom and grandpa and I cannot wait to share the good news with Kaden.
Will he be over the moon? How will he react? I cannot wait to find out.
"Excuse me," I call for one of the maids who is cleaning a mantle along the hallway. "Have you seen Kaden?” I do not feel his presence anywhere.
