It was nearing lunchtime when Thane came into the room, opening Cole's curtains then pulling the covers off us, as bright light suddenly streamed into the room. I lifted my head, blinking at him sleepily, and noticed the stern look on his face. "What's happened?" I asked, which only seemed to make him look even more frustrated. "Happened?" he repeated brusquely, "It's almost noon and the two of you are still lazing in bed. For a Beta and a future Luna, it's not a good look."

Finn and I both sat up slowly, though with plenty of grumbling on his part, and Thane glared at him, before turning to me. "We'll soon be planning for your ceremony, it would be nice if you'd actually join us for it," he said, and I nodded. Finn sighed deeply as he stood up to stretch, seeming very unaffected by Thane's stern demeanor. "I'd ask who pissed in your cereal this morning," Finn said, sounding mildly annoyed, "but we both already know the answer to that. What the fuck does he want this time?"
