Chapter 57

Amelia

I stood up and walked towards the door, I tightened my fist and brought it close to the door.

“No…what am I doing?.” I muttered in a low voice, and pulled myself away from the door. I wasn't comfortable here, partly because of what I had heard and also the smell from the room was nauseating.

I sighed and walked round the room, the bed sheets were clean, but smelt like it hadn't been used in ages. For the first time I was beginning to feel bad about my decision to escape from Alpha Kayden, maybe I should have just stayed.

I pressed my forehead with my fingers, the small headaches were back, and my legs were getting weaker. I walked slowly towards the window and stood in front of it.

“I'm sorry Alpha Kayden, I had no choice.” I muttered under my breath.

I sighed and pushed the curtains open, it was now all dark, and the partying had stopped. I looked up and there was no light from the sky, there were only clouds, rain clouds.
