Amelia's pov.

I was desperate to know what she had to say about whatever he was hiding. My heart was heavy, and I turned towards her, hoping Marie would tell me the answer.

“I'm sorry, Luna Amelia, but I can't tell you anything about that,” She explained, wanting to move away when I grabbed her hand.

“Don't dare me by doing what you're thinking. I'll make sure not to drink the special tea, and you know what that means?” I threatened, making her widened her eyes in ways I didn't expect.

I too was shocked at the way she acted, but I was desperate to know the truth.

However, Marie returned her face back to the normal position.

“Can we not talk about the Alpha?” Marie asked, making my heart skip a beat.

If she didn't want to talk about him even after the threat I posed, then they was definetely a reason to be scared.

“Please…” I begged, trying my best to make sure she still tells me what's going on.

“I'm sorry, Luna. You can ask me any other thing, but not anything about the Alpha's life
