Amelia's pov.

I waited for a while, but she was nowhere to be found, and my stomach was growling in hunger. My lips were pressed together, and creased lines appeared on my face due to frustration.

“Where could you be?” I asked, feeling worried about the whole thing. I was sure there was something up, it hadn't just shown up yet.

It was unlike her to just disappear without telling me where she was off to.

Unable to wait, I decided to move out of the room. I wanted to find my way to the dining room.

I followed the stairs, going down the stairs with worry in my heart. Slowly, I came down from the floor he wanted me to be in.

I swallowed, trying my best to make sure I was fine. My heart was beating fast, and I was confused.

I recalled the day I came to the house, and Kayden asked me not to be on these floors, but I was lost. I was looking for dinner.

I moved around, and felt really tired until I saw a huge door which looked like the door to the dining room.
