Amelia's pov.

I stood there a little puzzled by what was going on. Worry clouded me, and I was scared about the whole thing.

The place where I stood was a meadow, and I seemed lost on how to go back home.

“Hello!” I yelled, but only my echoes returned to me. My heart sank down to my ribcage.

If only I knew where I was, then maybe I would have been able to find my way back home.

“Hello, anyone here?” I asked in the hope of getting someone's attention. However, I heard someone familiar call my name.

“Amelia?” The same echoed, causing me to turn towards her with worry.

“Mother?!” I exclaimed widening my eyes as I rushed towards her with happiness.

My arms were wrapped around her with a smile on my face as I sobbed.

“My darling…” she said softly, rubbing my back as I cried like there was no tomorrow.

“Don't cry, darling, please…” she begged with tears in her eyes, making me aware that there was definetely something wrong.
