Amelia's POV I sat down at the right side of the head of the table, the future Luna must sit here, next to her mate at dinner. It was something that I had learned from my Luna studies and luckily this was one of the things that I could remember from the amount of information being crammed into my brain. Third Person's POV All eyes were on the infamous pair. Grayson's stance was stiff, his eyes zoning on every family member, trying to see if any of them would protest of what would happen, challenging to speak up to the Alpha. Grayson's POV My family sat in my office, my sister next to my parents and my brother who seemed to understand what would be happening. They all looked at me expectedly, their eyes trained on me, waiting for something to happen. Kayla's gaze was hard, she was tense. Amelia's POV I went downstairs after I took a shower, the worry was still settled in the pit of my stomach as I somehow found my way to the kitchen dressed in grey sweatpants that hung low on my lips and a thin white long-sleeved shirt which had revealed the outline of my bra until I put a singlet underneath it. I took a deep breath in as pushed the doors open where I saw a couple of the maids tending to the breakfast for the day. The dining room, open kitchen and the living room were being taken over by the smell of fried meat and freshly made bread which was baking in the oven. Once the maids saw me they bowed in respect and I did the same and they continued on preparing for the family's arrival. Amelia's POV Breakfast was uneventful, I decided to avoid the family who was talking amongst themselves as Grayson had sat next to me on one of the seats in the kitchen stroking my thigh in comfort as we ate breakfast silently. It felt good to have a day without any drama, Grayson would be leaving later in the day so I wanted to show him all my training before he did so. After breakfast, I took his hand and tugged him through the hallways and into our bedroom where I told him to sit and wait for me so he could watch me train. Amelia's POV Missing someone has always been easy for me, it was like a dull ache whenever I thought of them, like my friends I had left in my old pack. I know it was selfish of me to only miss them a tiny bit, I missed my family more and, well, Grayson is a totally different case. Every time I thought of him, I felt like something was missing as if a piece of my body was yearning for something which was miles away. Grayson's POV "She's actually going out with Kayla and her friends right now, do not fret my child, she will be okay," my mother said on the phone, her voice soothing me from my worries of Kayla planning something. I inhaled deeply, brushing my hair back as I leant against the wall with the phone pressed to my ear. I was glad Kayla was trying, happy even. "Thank you mother, I'm glad Kayla is trying, how are you going?" I asked her, remembering my manners as a few people had passed me, eyeing me down as I spoke into the phone. I lowly growled at them. "Your father and I are doing quite fine, how is therapy going?" she replied, keeping the conversation light and free flowing. I smiled, knowing how well it seemed. I was doing quite well, my anger issues were diminishing and I was having almost full control over my wolf.
