Chapter Ninety-Three

Paige's Pov:

I know that my best friend was going through the toughest moments of her life.

Losing the only family you have is the worst thing I believe could happen to anyone.

I promised myself that I would do everything in my power to always make her feel alive and be the family she needs whenever she was with me.

“So, you mean our alpha Kurt passed the first two tests?” I asked as we sat next to each other in the class.

“Yes, Paige. And it's so shocking. It’s happening as though he was reading my mind, as I told him about them. Or could it be possible he overheard us when we were discussing it? Or perhaps he read my mind again?” Olivia asked.

“Of course not, Olivia. Remember he wasn’t even at home when I left. And it's not as if he has the time to start reading your mind."

“Gosh! Then does it mean Kurt and I are really meant for each other? He’s just passing the tests without stress”.

“Hm. Anyway, he still has one more to go – getting you the gold-colored necklace. But are you seri
