Kurt's POV

I woke up the next morning, feeling a little giddy.

Did it feel like going for my morning run and besides the sun was already up?

I attended a business party and had some drinks.

But, urgh! What to do? I needed to get ready for an appointment.

I looked at the bed and my pretty lady beside me was still sleeping. I hope she doesn't forget that we have a lot to do tonight.

During the fool moon, her father's body will be cremated by the council. The elders of our clan and she must stay there until it is turned into ashes.

Then under the full moon, she will carry her father's ashes while naked and enter into the deeper side of the goddess's river, where she will stay until the sun rises.

I left the bed and went out of the room, going downstairs.

I got to the dining and discovered the maids were still setting breakfast.

Geez! They weren’t even done yet.
