Collin's POV

I was at it again, this time they moved faster and too close for comfort. It's almost like I was beginning to lose my strength and it became harder to run. But I didn't stop, kept pushing through the tall thick grasses. I couldn't see anything where I was running to, no hiding place not even a way out. Appears it's finally doom day for me.

I should have kept running, but I wanted to be sure my assailant was still running after me. I should have known better, a peek behind at what was coming after me, I hit my foot and stumbled forward. I didn't get to gather myself before the shining silver sword came piercing my belly.

I yelled out in panic from my sleep and ended up falling on the ground with a loud thud. I groaned painfully, my heart beating so fast it felt like it would leave its cage and come out alive. My head ached badly, it felt like something hard had been hit on my head.
